DESCRIPTION:Join AFSCME\, WPEA\, and other unionists at a picket to tell Thurston County Commissioner Karen Valenzuela\nDon’t Outsource Thurston County!\n\nThe picket is a protest against Valenzuela's decision to lay-off the County’s lowest-paid workers\, custodians at the Thurston County Court house\, and replace them with lower-wage workers from a private contractor.  The custodians are only the first to be outsourced. Whose job will be next? Help to ensure the line is drawn now\, to stop this outsourcing\, so that it doesn't spread. The action will be  a protest at Commissioner Valenzuela’s first campaign event of the year.\n\nAfter meeting in the parking lot\, the picket will being at 5pm\, at the Artists Gallery\, Westside Capital Mall Promenade\, by Italia Pizzeria.\n\n\t\n\n
